Books on Anne Boleyn Doomed Queen Anne: A Young Royals Book (Young Royals) (Paperback)
by Carolyn Meyer
The Young Royals series along with The Royal Diaries Series is a wonderfully tricky way to get young readers interested in Anne's story and the Tudors. And I am all for tricking readers into liking history. My only wish is that they would include more information about which parts are fiction and which are real at the end of the book. Many young readers may believe Anne had several deformities after reading this book which can not be proven.
Publishers Weekly's description:
Carolyn Meyer's Young Royals series continues with Doomed Queen Anne, based on the tragic events of Anne Boleyn's life. Told in the first person, Meyer's novel sensitively portrays Boleyn's childhood (at 13, she declared she would one day be Queen of England) through to the moments before her infamous end: death by beheading. Ages 12-up.
