Napoleon Bonaparte
Napoleon's horse MarengoPage 51 portrays Napoloen on a rearing horse as seen in Jacques-Louis David's famous painting (show here on the right). The horse in this painting is believed to be Napoleon's favorite horse, Marengo, named after the Battle of Marengo. Rumor has it that Margengo was captured by the British after the Battle of Waterloo and his skeleton can now be viewed at the National Army Museum.

Can you find the nickname given to Napoleon by the British on page 51?
